Role
I am so happy to be returning to the GI for Kids, PLLC family. I worked with Dr. Al-Tawil and staff for three years prior to accepting a new position closer to home in general pediatrics. While I loved my time in general pediatrics, I am eager for the opportunity to return to the specialty I enjoy the most. I have worked in pediatrics since the beginning of my nursing career and have always enjoyed the challenges of pediatric gastroenterology. I recently completed my doctorate of nursing practice, and my capstone project involved research on childhood obesity. I am very interested in the increased incidence of childhood obesity and the negative consequences associated with the disease. I feel wellness and obesity prevention is vital to protecting the health of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders, and I will do my best to promote healthy lifestyle choices that positively influence each child’s overall health.
